Are you looking for a new challenge? Become the cornerstone of our I4.0 development team and help grow knowledge, techniques and people in an international and progressive company! You will tackle a variety of tasks ranging from technical research, implementation and evaluation of prototypes to the development of deliverable software components. Your independent drive to iteratively develop and test ideas will push the boundaries of industrial digitalization.
Your goal is to employ creative thinking to develop innovative components that can discover and manage network devices in an industrial environment. To do this effectively, you will need honed skills in object-oriented programming, preferably with Microsoft .NET, as well as a solid understanding of network fundamentals and technologies. Experience with industrial environments, automation systems and industrial infrastructure is highly valued.
You will work in Sibiu in close collaboration with our development headquarters in Germany. During the onboarding phase, we will help you understand our company culture, vision, and goals by visiting our headquarters in Germany.
Tu, was du am besten kannst: / Do what you do best:
- DEVELOP SOFTWARE Design and write software components that will provide advanced functionality to the baramundi Management Suite, governing industrial devices on the shop floor
- LEAVE NOTHING TO CHANCE Write comprehensive tests at unit, integration and system level to ensure consistent quality and avoid regression
- PROBLEM SOVLING Conduct technical research, test hypotheses and develop prototypes iteratively to find the best solutions to complex problems
- CONTINUOUS LEARNING Stay updated with the latest technologies and trends to continuously improve your skills and contribute to innovative solutions
- BUILDING TEAMS Work closely with product owner and product manager, and help grow a team of I4.0 engineers around you
- SHARE YOUR SUCCESSES Share your knowledge and achievements with your colleagues in the Research & Development department and beyond
- ENJOY You will find your place in the organization and be contempt with your contribution towards a common goal
Bring mit, was wir an dir schätzen: / What we appreciate about you:
- A degree in a technical field such as Computer Science or Engineering
- Several years of experience working with C# or a similar object-oriented programming language
- Solid understanding of network topology and protocols such as ARP (Address Resolution Protocol)
- Proficiency in shop floor operations and experience with production and legacy operating systems
- Strong analytical thinking, the ability to abstract complex topics and an inert drive to learn something new
- Good English skills, both spoken and written
