According to the 2021 Cyberthreat Defense Report, an annual survey of 1,200 IT security professionals in 17
countries and 19 industries, 86% of all companies registered a successful cyberattack. While an attack can be costly and damaging for any organization, it can be catastrophic for
manufacturing companies with prolonged downtime, unfulfilled contracts and lost revenue, or even complete production failures.
