The 2018/19 financial year – a complete success for baramundi software AG

Augsburg, June 6, 2019 – baramundi software AG continues on its successful course. Among the highlights in the past fiscal year were 530 new customers, one of the top rankings in the "Great Place to Work" competition for the seventh time as well as other awards such as the "Accelerator" status of Crisp Research, the Reader's Choice Award of "IP-Insider" magazine or the "Trusted Solutions 2019" seal by Computer Bild magazine.

The balance sheet for the 2018/19 financial year has turned out again very positive for baramundi software AG: As in previous years, the sales target was exceeded and sales increased by 20%. Almost 530 new customers were acquired in the 2018/19 financial year alone, bringing the total number of customers using the baramundi Management Suite for Unified Endpoint Management to over 3,000 worldwide. Internal growth was correspondingly high: The Augsburg-based software manufacturer cracked the 200 mark with 44 new employees.

Further development of the Unified Endpoint Management solution from baramundi

The new releases of the baramundi Management Suite were published in May and November. One of the biggest highlights of the year was the completely new baramundi License Management module for managing software assets (SAM). In addition, the self-service kiosk of the baramundi Management Suite has been re-developed from scratch. In particular, the wishes and suggestions from the customers in the baramundi user forum were taken into account.

Top ratings for baramundi

At the product level, baramundi software AG received several awards last year: In the "Crisp Vendor Universe Workplace & Mobility 2018/2019" analysis by Crisp Research, baramundi received the best possible "Accelerator" status. baramundi received the "Champion" award in the Techconsult study "Professional User Rating: Security Solutions 2019 (PUR-S)" for both its Enterprise Mobility and Vulnerability Management solutions. In the magazine IP-Insider, baramundi won the Reader's Choice Award in silver in the Enterprise Mobility category. The Polish magazine IT-Professional named the "baramundi Management Suite" product of the year 2018. The US trade magazine Silicon Review listed baramundi among the "50 Most Admired Companies Of The Year 2019". In addition, baramundi once again qualified for Microsoft Partner Gold status.

baramundi also impressed as an employer in 2018/19. In the "Great Place to Work" competition "Germany's Best Employers 2019", the Augsburg-based software manufacturer was ranked among the top 100 best employers for the seventh time. In addition, baramundi received the award as "Top Employer for SMEs 2019" from Focus Business Magazine.

In the Internet and cyber security sector, baramundi was named "Trust Champion" at "Trusted Solutions 2019" by Computer Bild magazine and the market research institute Statista.
